1.What are the latest MRT fares (2026)?+

Blue Line: 17 - 45 Baht

Purple Line: 14 - 42 Baht

Yellow Line: 15 - 45 Baht

Pink Line: 15 - 45 Baht

*Joint fare Blue + Purple Line max capped at 70 Baht (previously 87 Baht)
*Child/Elderly 50% discount and Student 10% discount (Blue/Purple lines only)
2.Which ticket/card can be used on which line?+
  • EMV Contactless (Visa/Mastercard):
    Valid on Blue, Purple, Yellow, and Pink lines (also Red line).
  • MRT / MRT Plus Card:
    Valid on Blue and Purple lines only.
  • Rabbit Card:
    Valid on Yellow and Pink lines. *Cannot be used on Blue/Purple lines.
3.Interchange Rules and Discounts?+
  • Tao Poon (Blue ↔ Purple): Seamless transfer (stay inside the paid area).
  • Lat Phrao (Blue ↔ Yellow): Must tap out and walk to the connecting station.
  • Nonthaburi Civic Center (Purple ↔ Pink): Must tap out and walk to the connecting station.
    • *For Tap-out interchanges: If you use the same card (EMV/Rabbit) to enter the next line within 30 minutes, the base entry fee will be waived (transfer discount applies).
